Boston Public Library Wedding Weekend Photos + Super 8 Film
It was the perfect August day when Carolina and Garrett were married at the Boston Public Library. So many amazing memories were made on their wedding weekend as their family and friends gathered from across the world to celebrate their union.
We were lucky enough to document this amazing day with photo and Super 8 motion-picture coverage.
The Night Before
The night before the wedding, the couple were married in an intimate ceremony at Saint Cecilia’s church. Afterwards, they walked hand in hand to their welcome party at Petit Robert Bistro in the South End.
The Wedding Day
Getting Ready
The wedding day started with the couple getting ready at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston, directly across the street from the Boston Public Library! There was dancing, laughter, and quiet nerves in anticipation of seeing each other for the first time in their wedding attire.
After getting ready, the guys went down to the Oak Long Bar on the first floor of the Fairmont for a drink. They hung out in a side room with the most amazing sunlight shining through a stained glass window.
The First Look
The couple had their first look behind Trinity Church, an iconic Boston landmark. The groom was absolutely captivated seeing his bride for the first time.
Wedding Party Portraits
We took the couple’s wedding party portraits on Commonwealth Ave. We were able to do a few crosswalk photos, which are some of my favorites!

The Boston Public Library is one of my absolute favorite wedding venues! There are so many stunning spots for photos and it’s surreal to be able to essentially have the whole place to ourselves!
The Courtyard Ceremony
Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour was held in the courtyard immediately following the ceremony. The couple had a brief moment to themselves before making a brief appearance on the Juliet balcony.
The Reception
Carolina and Garrett’s reception was filled with amazing food, music, and dancing.
